Is anyone else out there who is NOT on Beta Blogger having trouble posting pictures? I cannot for the life of me post any freaking pictures on my blog. Anyone know who to contact for help?

Also, I am in the market for a makeover for my blog and am pretty ignorant when it comes to blogskins. What do I do to make my blog look like MY blog (as opposed to the free template that I've been using)? And how do I go about doing it? And how much might it cost me?

I had some problems posting pictures that seemed to get better when I used Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. It's a free download, and worth a shot:

Firefox is awesome! I use it all the time, and highly recommend it.

I had a lot of problems on the regular Blogger. Since the change to Beta Blogger, posting pics has become a lot easier - sorry!

I too want a new, fun look for my blog. I was able to play around a bit more with the background on the new Beta Blogger. I have to admit that I was scared to pieces that I would erase all that I had written to date on my blog though. Luckily I was successful in the transfer.

I technically switched to beta but I kept the "classic template"--that is MUCH easier to manipulate. If you look up a basic html site you can easily change colors. I make heading banners in photoshop and they're easy enough to pop in. Shoot me an email if you need help!

New Blogger blows. I paid Julie from Pilcrow $100 to re-do my blog skin. I love IT and I loved working with her and the new template made me so happy I thought it was worth every penny. (You can link to her from my blog.)

Firefox, firefox, firefox. It's all that works for me. I wish I could help with the blog makeover, but I'm useless in that arena.

Hope you had a Happy New Year's Eve!!!

I gave up the fight & switched to Blogger Beta. I haven't had any trouble since then. The original Blogger was a nightmare & rarely let me post photos.

The lovely & talented Miss Zoot has free Blogger templates on her blog, She also has some templates that she will sell for $40-60. I am not by any stretch of the imagination a technological genius (ha! understatement!) but I was able to follow her instructions & change my template & even figure out how to change some of the details ALL BY MYSELF. I know! I was amazed too! Good luck!

Well, a humble opinion from another teacher/reader: I enjoy the blog template you have. Sometimes blogs get as confusing as classrooms, i.e. full of posters, full of information, full of distractions until the reader gets lost. Plus, why would we want to spend extra money when this is free? :)

Firefox! I love it!
Also, yes, learn some basic html. Then, you can understand and change parts of your template. I also make my banners/headers in Photoshop. :) Have fun with it!
Or, you could not mess with it, and learn how to knit instead, LOL!

I had problems when there were spaces in the name of the picture. If there weren't spaces, it always worked fine.
